Problem exporting layers to PhotoShop CS

Hi --

I have an AI files that's stripped off all layer effects, spot colors, and other stuff that could potentially cause any problems. It's roughly 15 layers, of which I need all to be intact after exporting it to Photoshop. I select all applicable options in the Export menu (to Photoshop CS), like Layers, Maximum Editability, etc., but somehow only 5 layers import, with the top four being fine, and the remaining 11 being lumped into one.

Which version of Illustrator? Have you tried to save to other versions of PS?

Bert, it's AI CS as well. Tried exporting as PS 5, same results ...

That is odd. Have you tried it with more than one file, or is it just the one file that's messing up?

Thanks Bert, but I gave up. I ended jsut copying ans pasting most of the other stuff over. No idea ...
