When using the export function, I want to export JUST the artboard, and not any sumbols, stray lines, and other information that I have littered around the outside of the artboard.
Now its trivial to do this using a "Save to Web" function - there is a nice "clip to artboard" option there.
However, in the EXPORT options, it exports EVERYTHING on the screen that is visible. My problem comes from certain gradient backgrounds and other strokes that extend past the edge of the artboard that I do not want in the final output.
Selecting a custom print size through the PRINT dialog does not work either, as it will not let me define a custom page size.
Any ideas?
