I have a crystal report that I am exporting to PDF...
I am receiving the following error...Adobe reader could not open 'xxxx.rpt' because it is either not a supported file type, or the file was damaged.

Has anyone experienced this one?

Thanks Ed

I've seen something like that.

However you should post the version of your software whenever posting questions, the answers often vary.

Have you tried exporting a sample report from your version of Crystal? Does it produce the same error?

Also make sure that you have the latest Service Pack installed:

Well, it gets a little complicated because we are using Crystal that comes with VS.NET, and we interface the reports to a vendor built application.

Perhaps your exported version of a PDF is newer than the vendor's app?

Have you tried opening the report in Adobe itself?
