PROBLEM ENTERING CALCULATION TO ACCESS!!!

We need to calculate every three years if a certain professor repeats a class so they can increase pay. We have tables professor, classes, students,etc. This is for a continuing education department at a university.Matching profs and classes or students easy. How do we set up something that flags every 3 years. Thanks

One thing that you can do is in the Database Custom Property to set a variable Then call it from the with an API call to retrieve it. This way is A little more complex and is not very good if you need more than one variable for more than on Professor. If you need more than one professor, which I will assume you will, I would create a sysTabProf Table and mark it as Hidden. On this table you would put Professor Name, ID, Date Hired, Class Taught, Last Raise Date, Next Raise Date etc... Then Create a module that would cycle through each record everytime you open the database or trigger some event. When it finds a match it would flag you. This seems Like a lot but it is not.
