Problem: Do we have any function 'Val' in Impromptu??

Hi,

In Ms-Access Queries they are using 'Val' function. Is there any similar function in Cognos Impromptu.

If any body know please give response ASAP.....

Never really needed 'val' in impromptu. The Values are taken directly from database, and use functions to alter values as needed.

If you are looking for a conversion from a string to a number, use the 'string-to-number' function in the Expression Editor.
