Problem Displaying Icon when Inserting Object MS 2007

Has anyone ran into an issue imbedding a document, then displaying it as an icon in MS Project 2007?

I can imbedd the object, but can not get a word doc, excel doc..etc to display as an icon no matter which one I choose.

I can get a medial clip icon to display and some other misc icons to display as well, but nothing from the office family.

You can see the title of the object and click on it and it will open, but will not display.

I speak of the notes tab in the task information window.

I have tried this on two different computers with 2007 and I get the same result.

I can't say for sure that this is a bug in MS Project 2007, but I do recall having the same problem. I know it used to work find in 2003!
