I am having a problem displaying information on the Group Footings of one of my reports. The detail section (suppressed) is as follows :

Type Desc Price
------- ------- -------
Fruit Apples 1.00
Fruit Oranges 2.50
Fruit Pears 1.25
Veg. Potato .60
Veg. Beans .75

The footing currently looks like this :
Fruit Veg.
------- -------
Apples 1.00
Oranges 2.50
Pears 1.25
Potato .60
Beans .75

How can I remove the blank spaces under the Veg. column or is there a better way to do this ?

Thanks for any input and sorry for the food references...(its almost lunch)....

If your totals are group footers, they have to be distinct lines. I don't thing there's a way round that.

You could make it look neater by turning 'Fruit' and 'Vegitables' into two items in a higher-level group. That way 'Vegetables' could begin again and be in line with 'Fruit'. You could also do it with subsections and suppressing, but a higher-level group is easier.
