IS-IT--Management
Hi people
Im currently in a situation whereby our company are taking on new clients with switches which have had passwords regularly changed by the ex-suppliers, and the ex-suppliers havent kept track of what the passwords are. When we go to the clients site obviously we cant get on, and the ex-supplier is proving near to impossible to get any info out of for one reason and another.
Im aware that there is a method within PDT of extracting the Unix style password file and decyphering what the pwd is from that? Can anyone point me in the direction of where i can get any more info from? Please feel free if you will to email me at chris.riddell@orange.net if you can help any more
Thanks
Chris
