Problem creating new document library - templates missing

I'm quite new to Sharepoint (Team Services) also and I have a problem with the document libraries. Whenever I try to create a new one, the templates pulldown menu is empty (should say "blank microsoft word document" or something) and therefore I can't create a library (general error). I know it fetches the the list from onet.xml but I can't understand why that doesn't work. If anyone has got a clue I would be most greatful.

I solved the problem. Well solved it... I reinstalled Sharepoint ;-)
