I am trying to create an exception report and have had
no luck so far. I have two tables Count1 and Count2(Inventory entries counted twice for accuracy).

I want to compare Count1 with Count2 and report ONLY the exceptions.

The fields in each record which could have different entries include:
Docno, Itemkey, Location, UOM, Qty, Lotno

I would appreciate any help I can get !!!

Thanks in advance
Karen

It would be easier to build this as query then build your report from the query. In the query you would use both tables. the select all the items from each table (unless you are looking for something specific). then in the criteria section under the fields from table one put <> table2.same_field as table one. This would give you all records that were not exactly the same in all fields or at least the fields you selected.
