Problem creating AP2330

Hi all,

Does anyone recognize the following problem?
Sometimes we're experiencing problems creating a DAP on the WSS2380. Once connected to a PoE device, it will not become available in the 2380 or does but after 15 minutes or so. Faststart is set to true but the AP keeps on resetting.
Other 2330's are recognized as a unconfigured AP within several minutes.
Also the fingerprint which can be used is sometimes a problem. It will not automatically recognize the fingerprint in the AP. When we manually configure this, sometimes it's ok but sometimes it keeps saying 'the fingerprint does not match'.

We are using release 4.1 on the WSS2380 with several 2330 AP's.

If this sounds familiair or there are any suggestion, thanks in advance.

According to Nortel- All APs connected to an edge switch or whatever must have spanning-tree disabled or else the AP will not boot and will cause instablity within the AP etc.

the RSA key or fingerprint which is 32 characters can be entered after the AP has booted successfully. its easy to fat-finger the key.

thx for the reply. however the problem is already resolved. It seemed we did recieve some bad 2330´s, these are in the rma procedure now. the problem with the fingerprint will be checked by the supplier, this also occurs on well functioning 2330´s.
