Problem Copying to CD-RW or DVD-RW 1

I can't copy to a CD-RW or DVD-RW using Windows XP Pro. Windows pops up Problem Copying retry or cancel. I can copy to a regular CD.

I am on an HP Compaq nx6325 Laptop with a HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T10N drive.

Any suggestions?

the reason is that the burner only supports + media

now to the problem:

you can copy a CD to CD, due to the fact that they are the same MEDIA TYPE...

now copying to a DVD you would need a software app, such as UltraISO, or a burn software (e.g. Alcohol) that allows the MEDIA change over, as some DO NOT support that...

my recommendation would be for using UltraISO for this purpose...

I reinstalled Nero Ultra 7 and that works so I guess this is solved.

Glad to hear that the prob is resolved...

sometimes reinstalling fixes corrupt registry entries and files...
