Hi,

I have some VPN problems I was hoping someone could help me with.

My company uses VPN connections to connect to our customers. Until now, we have used SecuRemote 4.5 SP-5 3DES and Cisco VPN Client 4.6.01.0019. The Cisco client has only used IPSEC over UDP and all VPN connections in both applications has worked fine.

Now, one of our customers uses Cisco's VPN Client over TCP and noe our problems starts. When I try to connect on a Windows XP SP2 (having both VPN clients installed) I get the error message "Secure VPN connection terminated locally by the client. Reason 414: Failed to establish a TCP connection. To try to solve this I have added allowed the VPN Client throught eh firewall, disabled the SecuRemote driver from the Local Area Connection and stopped SecuRemote from starting in msconfig -> startup. Still I get the same error message as before.

I have tried to install the Cisco VPN Client (version 4.7.00.0533) on another computer using Windows 2003 Server. I get no error messages at all when trying to connect over TCP, it just doesn't connect.

Question 1: Can I install two Cisco VPN Client versions on the same computer?

Question 2: How can I make Cisco and SecuRemote to function on the same computer?

I would be very grateful for any answers
Best,
/M
