A remote user can connect to our company network using Soniwall VPN client software. User can currently access e-mail server and shared folders on NT server wihtout any problem.

A Unix server running ERP system is also attached to network. Internal users access ERP system via Telnet. We have enabled telnet (port 23) in firewall (Sonicwall Soho3) but remote user cannot telnet to (or ping) Unix server.

What further setup is required to allow remote user to access unix server via telnet?

I had this problem with a remote location, and it was the default gateway on the unix server was wrong, it had never been updated when they installed thier dsl router.
