I am running WindowsXP and Access 2000. I've had OLE server errors come up just within the last week in two different instances. Makes me think it had to have been an update of some kind that messed things up. The errors read: "problem communicating with the OLE Server or ActiveX control" and the other one says "an error occured while sending data to the OLE server....."
The first instance is happening with Access reports that contain charts. They worked fine before. Now when I try to run the report, my Office Installer kicks in and then I get an error message.
The second instance is when trying to link an OLE object into a data field. For example, a supporting Word document or PDF. Again, worked before but just recently began generating the error.
Tried to search the MSKB but they only say something about Norton. We don't use Norton.
From looking through this and other forums, I think there are others who have encountered the problem but no replies.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!
