I have FrontPage 2000 version 4.0.2.2717 running on an older NT Server - it's got IIS version 4 but here's my problem...

We have changed email servers/ip addresses for incoming and outgoing mail. Now all the forms don't send the results to the right place, in fact we just get the message:
==========================================================
FrontPage Error.

User: please report details to this site's webmaster.

Webmaster: please see the server's application event log for more details.
==========================================================
WHERE ON EARTH DO I GO TO TELL FRONTPAGE OR IIS THAT I'VE GOT A NEW MAIL SERVER? I've tried entering the SMTP=mail.hostname.com in the frontpg.ini file, I've also tried changing the e-mail transport in IIS, but nothing works! Ugh.

Any ideas?

Did you whitelist the email server's ip Address? A lot of email servers require authentication & since FP cannot do that, the will need to be whitelisted.

Also you should always sign on to the server (File - open web - and then go to Tools - Server to sign on to the server to make changes.
