Problem changing server from VB to report with OLEDB source

hi!
I have a big problem (i really do! )
i have several reports which source is OLDB SQL, but when, from VB, I want to connect to another server different from the one i used to create the reports my application stops and sends a message saying "the server could't be found" or something like that...
can anyone help me??? please¡¡¡¡
