Trying to use the "Backup" program on a win 2000 server computer to setup a scheduled backup. Want to backup to a seagate tape drive. When I get into the backup wizard I select the destination as Travan but the only option I get for "Backup media or File Name" is "New media".
When I try and run the backup I get the error message "there is no unused media available with the selected type". "Required media missing".
Found the Article ID : 327559 in Microsoft knowledge base but that tells me that sp 4 is needed which I already have. Then goes into some fixes which scares me a little.
Any easy answers? Just want to do a simple scheduled backup daily. How do I get another option for backup media?
