Problem Calling into Voicemail 2

I seem to have a problem from a Norstar Meridian, although I assume it could be any type of system. When I call out and an Auto-attendant system answers; it dosent recognise my digets outdialed. "Please enter the Extension" "18" nothing happens. I've tried several systems, so I know it has something to do with my system. All call to a regular line work and I have no problems getting calls.
Any Ideas??

 
Sounds like you need to enable DTMF after connect.

On an ascom, you have to press and hold * for about 2 secs.

I suspect thats what you need to do. From you description, I am assuming that this VM isn't yours

some norstars default to pulse on outgoing co lines you wont notice anything until you try to access a tone only response system

check on the lines config and be sure its set to tone and not pulse.

I learned this the hardway after having to do a 100 mile roundtrip service call on a new install that I wasn't making much on anyway

now I always check
