problem calculating page totals...

Hi,
this is a simple prob but cant get my reports page footer to calculate totals on a page.
Is this possible? aggregate functions (sum,count) appear "error?"
This is an account ledger so I need totals at end of each page and need to bring page balance forward to top of next page?
