Hi there,

I'm trying to build a new kernel from scratch but every time I type: make menuconfig, I get " make: *** No rule to make target 'menuconfig'. Stop. " This is happening under xconfig too. Am I missing something obvious here? This is the first time I've tried to compile my own kernel.

I am running Redhat 7.3

Thanks in advance, Glenn
