Hello,

for performance reasons, we want to back up some of our data to a hard disk first and then move it to a DLT tape.

I configured a file system device as described in the manual. It's a directory on a logical volume, consisting of 3 fysical disks in one volume group. (Total 27 GB)

In the device resource, I put the default capacity to 24 GB and the system accepts it.

When I start the backup, everything runs as it should be, but after 3-5 GB of backup, the system halts and gives me the message,

file disk is full
file disk used 3147 MB of 24 GB capacity

when I look to my file system with bdf, I still have Gigabytes available space

Any advice ?
