Problem backing up exchange directories

I have a BE 8.6 srever backing up two different NT domains. I have the BE server set up on domain ABC backing up itself and serveral other servers. I am also backing up two servers on domain XYZ, one of which is an Exchange 5.5 server. I can backup both domain XYZ servers just fine but am getting an access denied when trying to backup the Information and Directory stores on the Exchange server. Any suggestions?
