Problem after using GetFileOpenName() function

I am using PB6.5. I have multiple problems associated with calling above function:
1. I run code within IDE first time and use the above function. Next time when I execute code again, it fails to connect to database with a message that "DBMS is not supported in current installation". I have to restart the IDE to connect again.
2. ADDPICTURE fails after calling above function.

I guess it has something to do with FILE IO

Please help.
