Problem adding/printing record

I created a database in which I am using a form for users to input information. The information is printed via a report. Everything appears to be working great EXCEPT for the fact that when I set the data mode to add.. which I need to get a clean form and add a record.. the information is not added to the database and I get an error message indicating the record cant be saved at this time. When I change the data mode to edit.. I can print the report, but the data overrides the previous record. I hope I made this clear enough to understand.. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.. I have been all over the internet looking for solutions and none of them have worked yet. I must be missing something. Thanks..

Hi luraetheangel

I think that you should try to refresh the form before you print it using :-
me.refresh

This should then write the record that you are editing into the database and then the report should be able to see it.
