Howdy!

I have never seen this one before. I use 'scoadmin' then choose 'Account Manager' and get following error

Code:
Fatal error: (vTcl interp) Failed reading Receive Msg length - Unknown error(vTc
l interp) No Server Connection - missing VtOpen ?
Error Information logged to: /tmp/tclerror.551.log

Viewing the content of /tmp/tclerror.551.log, it appears to look like a shell script of sort.

I really need some help with this one ... thank you all in advance!

Regards;

Jose Lerebours

That's a new one on me, but I'd start with the basics:
Look for additional information in the /usr/adm/syslog and /usr/adm/messages files.
Check root's Email.
Run /tcb/bin/integrity -e
Run /tcb/bin/authck -p

Please provide the version of SCO you are running.

Thank you both for replying. Technical article was a great help. Using authck -av -y was able to identify problems with two user IDs (including auth) - I edited passwd and shadow and all is well now.

Thank you again!!!!
