Hi
Im using a workstation behind a SBS 2003 server, running ISA 2004. Accessing FTP servers has been fine, until I had to reinstall Windows XP on the workstation. Now, I cannot access any ftp servers on the internet. I have tried through IE, SmartFTP and Filezilla with no luck. The error I get with IE is:
Windows Cannot access this folder. Make sure you typed the file name correctly and that you have permission to access the folder.
Details:
The connection with the server was reset
The SmartFTP log says:
[15:14:39] Connected to site.uk.com.
[15:15:19] Timeout (40s).
All ISA policies regarding protocol access are username based, and I am using the same username. Also, the machine name is the same as before, so I really don't understand what the problem is. The other users under the same policy can access the ftp server fine. This isnt the problem with the 'Read Only' attribute on ISA 2004, as this was already solved when we installed ISA. Nothing has been changed on ISA since we had to reinstall XP on the workstation
Can anyone shed any light on this?
Cheers
