Here is my problem. I originally set up Info 7 a few years ago. It was running fine until someone killed the box it was running on. So I need to get it working again.

My problem is this. I have Info installed on a seperate workstation from my application server. I've mapped the location of the application database. I can pull data when I run the reports manually, but when I try to schedule the reports, the job fails with the error of PEStartPrintJob: Unable to open Database. Teh reports run fine if the data is contained on the local machine.

The articles I've seen say that I need an account that has access to the local network. I'm logged in as an administrator and I can see the drive. Everything runs fine manually. Any suggestions?

Thanks!!

Have you seen this?:

The articles sound right, it sounds like an account issue. Ask one of your domain admins to use an admin account and it will probably run fine.

Please define what you're referring to by the application database, do you mean the SI database?

What does everything runs fine manually mean? You can manually execute a report and export it?

And what does reports run fine if the data is contained on the local machine mean, local meaning the SI server, or the client invoking the report?

Thank you. I was able to add a user and give them rights.

To answer your questions: Yes, I was able to run the reports fine if the database were on the same server as seagete info. I ran into problems when the seage info tried to access databases across the network.
