proble with adding report object with dynamic parameter

Hello,
I am getting error while trying to add report object with just one dynamic parameter, previously i've it'd worked fine with static parameter.

Error Message:
There was an error while retrieving data from the server: Failed to read data from report file /usr/local/BusinessObjects/bobje/tomcat/temp/Daily_Channel_Summary_Web.rpt. Reason: Failed to read parameter object

There isn't a Crystal Enterprise XI Release 2

This is a fairly common error with dynamic parameters, and sometimes I can just close all preview and subreport windows and it will save correctly.

What method are you using for ADDING the report to BOE?

Try closing all windows except the main report design window and use File->Save As and select the Enterprise icon in the lower left.

I think that there was also a service pack that addressed this on the Windows side, not sure about Sun.
