probably a virus/spyware affected my desktop 1

This is the deal, yesterday none of the desktop icons were visible, i thought a reset would fix it but it didn't, i can see the icons in the 'Desktop folder' but not in the Desktop and the desktop image is a little foggy.

appreciate any kind of help.

yeah! thanks a lot, it was making my computer run slower so thats why i thought it was a spyware, but it was silly by me anyway :$.
