We are running Citrix XP FR2 on 4 servers loaded with Svr 2003 and 200 users. Initially the Citrix farm was part of an NT4.0 domain (xyz). In November 2004 we migrated to a Server 2003 domain (abc). The prob I'm having is that I now have multiple profiles for users on Citrix servers:
jsmith.(nul)
jsmith.xyz - NT 4.0 domain
jsmith.abc - Server 2003 domain
I need to remove these extra profiles due to the amount of space being taken up. I assume I can delete *.xyz profiles without prob but unsure about others. Initially assumed that would work to leave *.abc profiles but when looked at directories I found cases where *.(nul) profiles had more recent modify dates than related *.abc profile. Deleting all definitely not solution as don't want to create network slowdown with that many profiles being built at once. Additionally, not all users have a related ?.abc profile.
Question 1: How can I determine which profiles best to remove?
Question 2: Why does a user have a nul profile with more recent modified date (jsmith.(nul)/01-06-05 jsmith.abc/01-05-05
Final note - we're planning on installing FR3 but want to correct this first.
Apologize for length and thanks in advance for any assist.
