We are using the average cost to value our inventory. However, I would like to view my cost variance which is based on Std Cost. I have updated the Std Cost field in the item master but nothing updates the Cost Variance Report. I cannot seem to update the Std Cost field in the Item Location tab. Is there a way to update current Std cost from the Item Master to impact the Cost Variance Report? Right now I have some parts on the Cost Variance Report which have old Std Cost displayed and a majority of items which show a Std Cost of zero.
