Hello,

I've got an installatin of Makedrake 9.0 running as my FTP server. I use Pro FTPD for the ftp service.

I have client who uses OSX. When he logs into my FTP he gets root access to everything. I have been unable to find a solution to this problem. I am not running an anonymous FTP.

Has anyone else seen this before and how do we fix it?

Thanks for any of your help.

I don't have a solution, but I'm curious because I have the same setup. How does the OSX user login? - with a specific FTP app, anonamously, with a normal username & password? I don't see this listed as a known bug:

They have a specific log and password they use. It happens no matter which username and password is used. it is a very strange problem.

They're normal users, without any special group rights, etc.
