Hi Guys,
I have a COBOL program which I use to extract some information from tables in an Oracle Database. The program compiles without error, but when I try to link it I get

ld: Unsatisfied symbols:
SQLADR (code)
SQLBEX (code)

but I don't know what this means. Has anyone seen this problem before or have an idea of what might be causing it? This is on HP-UX 11.0 with Micro Focus Cobol compilers. I am not sure if this error has to do with the Oracle pre-compilers or the MF compilers. Help greatly appreciated as I can't find any useful documentation on this anywhere.

Thanks for the help,

Hi,

although I don't know a thing about linking on a HP machine, it feels that the unsatisfied symbols are not found in the libraries you used when you where linking.

So perhaps you can add the files to the linking process where it can find the objects to link with the names
SQLADR and SQLBEX.

I hope this is helpful.

Greetings,

Crox
