I'm new to databases (my work has always been front end)
and I have a question about .PRN files.

What are they and which databases do they best relate to?

Any help would be appreciated.

Frank

far as i know, they are windows printer files

like, for example, you can save an excel spreadsheet as a tab delimited text file, and it'll default to the .TXT extension, or you can save it as a formatted text (space delimited) file, and it'll default to the .PRN extension, which is useful, because all the columns "line up" nicely, allowing for printing, or cuttin & pastin into emails, etc.

of course, there could also be a data warehouse file type with a .PRN extension, and i just never heard of it yet
