.PRN file format

Does anyone have a description of the .PRN file format such as header description, etc..?

That's a broad question. The PRN file is created based on the printer driver that created it. The first line of the file will tell who the manufacturer is. From there, go to their website for more information. Basically, it's just a stream capture of what would have normally been sent directly to the printer.
