Private line on ACS308 1

System is carded for 7 x 14.
I have 6 lines into KSU. CEO wants line 6 as his private line. I unassigned line 6 on all Exts. except for his X.18.
They have no Partner VM.
Does anyone see a problem with this? I do, as far as him then needing to transfer the outside party to another inside employee.
Is there a BETTER way?

if he transfers to another party in the office, it will ring their intercom.

you could make the line no ring on all other telephones and set up auto line selection and not include it for all other phones.
