I am trying to configure our mail server running Redhat 8.0/sendmail 8.12.8 to use private.db. I used makemap to create the db file in /etc/mail and it is populated as below. Mail from the outside continues to reach the alias that is included in the file even after restarting sendmail. Do I need to recompile sendmail to use private.db? If so how would I do this?
