I have a system being installed overseas and telco has been less than helpful.(imagine that) Apparently the system I programmed and shipped with four digit extensions for a PRI and Sip route is now going to need to be three digit. I know how to change the extensions and receive length on the target lines. Is it possible to receive three on my public network (and four) on my private network so long as I set up target lines accordingly? It's a new BCM50 and I plan to make the sip route dial 8 access because of this change.

Yes that is possible. Private and public received length are set in different places and have no correlation to DN length. Make sure you change the SIP route type to private else it will use the public DN length setting.
