priv1.ebd out of control

Came into a situation where the exchange priv1.edb is 11.5GB but there is not nearly that much mail. tere is less than 1.0GB of mail. How can I get this file back to size that can be managed. I have no mre free space on this server to defrag it... is there a way to defrag it to another drive... It appears the previous IT guy was jsut deleting the log files... and the data base kept growing..

You can/should defreg it to another drive, I dont know about a network drive if thats what you mean, Intsall another drive local to the server with enough space and defrag away. 01110000

eseutil has the /t for it to defrag to a different drive. Dan
