Because my company wants to save money I am stuck backing up via a workstation with BE Desktop Pro. My problem is that it erros on the Priv.deb for the exchange server. It says that the file is too large. Any clues? Do I have to really covince them that I BE for NT Server or can I find a way to make this work.

BE Desktop Pro can only backup files under 2GB each. To backup your Exchange server you must have Backup Exec and the Exchange Agent otherwise you cannot restore a single email, only the entire database.
And no, of course that is not made up to justify the spend...
