I am running a mixed Win2000 Pro and Win98 environment.
Is it possible to prioritize printing on the network so that one application has the lowest priority? I am printing from Microsoft Publisher 98 and would like it to print only when no other jobs are in queue.

Thanks.

You can change the priorities for different users - does that help?

One thing you can do with winnt is that you can specify several printers to the same port. That means that you have several printing queues. so if you add another queue that has higher priority and map that to those computers that dont need high priority i think it will solve your case. I dont remember all the details.

Unfortunately, I'm unaware of any way to select an application-level print priority. Anyone else know of a way?
