Hello !

I have installed a network printer on a Win 2003 server and shared it. I have then installed this printer on a client from the printserver. The problem is when i do a change on the print driver settings on the server, i have changed def. printing from color to black & white, but this setting is not changed on the client printer. Shouldnt it work so that when i do a change on the printserver it is "pushed" to the client printer ???

Best Regards
Stig.

How did you add the printer to the workstation?

Easiest way manually is to click Start, Run

Type \\servername and click OK. Next browse to the printer and double click it.

I would however suggest using a login script. faq329-5798

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark
