Is there anyway of using print screen on a Unix operating system like you do in Windows?

Any help appreciated,

Ryan

If you have the ImageMagick package installed, you can use [tt]import -window root <filename>[/tt] to create a screen shot. Depending on what window manager you are using, you might be able to set it up so that pressing Print Screen executes this command. //Daniel

Or use a terminal emulator on a DOS based machine and screen print from there. Ed Fair

XV is brilliant. Beats any Windows programme.
