I am having an issue with Novell Zenworks
and Windows 2000 Service Pack 2. In order to resolve a printing issue
with Windows 2000 SP1 and Internet Explorer/Notepad due to our security
settings, we tried to update to Windows 2000 SP2 (which does fix this
particular problem).

However, after logging on to a Novell 5.1 SP2 server running ZENworks
3.0 SP1, with Novell Client 4.8 SP3 for Windows 2000, Windows crashes
citing WMRUNDLL.exe as the problem ("memory could not be read").

Has anyone run into this issue and can offer any advice for any fixes,
particularly client-based fixes?

HI!

I have not much experience with Win2K & Client32, but here is what I think:

WMRUN.DLL - maybe stands for Workstation Manager Runtime or like.

So maybe uninstall the Workstation Manager from the W2K server - do you need it on the server?

Try to configure ZENworks and login-scripts not to deploy Workstation Manager to the server automaticaly if it is done now.

These are only my guesses..

Some questions:
What do you mean "Windows Crashes"? Is it the blue screen of death?
What user you use to log on at the server? What permissions he has on the W2K server and on the NW server?

Bye
