Hi all.

I'm using AutoCAD 2002 on NT4.0+SP6a, and trying to print on
a HP DesignJet 500ps (last driver v5.02 downloaded from
I want to configure 'customized sheets' (Editting the .PC3 file)
but the 'Add' button is disabled.

I checked this button in other printers, and it's enabled, and I
do not understand why it's disabled for DesignJet 500ps.

My target is customize my own sheet in order to waste too much paper,
but I have to print an ISO-A4 drawing on a ISO-A3 sheet. I would like
to create a 305x220mm sheet (a little more than A4).

I installed my PC3 file by using 'system printer' because there is
no Autidesk .hif-Heidi drivers for HP DesignJet 500ps. So I had to
install the printer with the drivers provided by HP on their website.

I would be extremely obliged if anybody had any experience with
this problem.

Best regards, merry Xmas and thank you very much in advance.

There is a driver avalible for this. I was told to go the the HP web site to get the latest driver and then install that. If that does not work then go to the Autodesk web site and get the HP500csi drivers. This should help with your problems
