I want to keep hard copies of a web page in color. In other words, I want to print a web page in color as it appears in front of me in a browser.

The problem I am running into is when I print the page I can not find an option to print all images and backgrounds. I have tried saving the page offline and opening it with FrontPage, but again when I want to print the page, all backgrounds and colored graphics are hidden. I also tried printing the page to Acrobat Reader, but this also hides much of the graphics.

Any ideas?

There's some screen capture software called "Snag-It" which captures the whole screen and saves it to a Gif/JPG/etc...
Runs about $40 but you can download a free sample version.

Then print your JPG.

a work in progress

Alternatively make the browser the active window and hit 'ALT' + 'PRINT SCREEN' this puts the image on the clipboard and you can paste it into a graphics tool for printing (or a word processing / dtp application).

Cheers

John

Thanks for all the help.

There is an option I selected titled, "Print background colors and images" in Internet Explorer under Tools, Internet Options, Advanced.

This enabled me to print the page as it appears without hiding any graphics.
