We are using Novell Netware 4.11 and have the Novell Client installed on our Windows 98 workstations.

We would like our workstations to print to a NT Server Print Queue without loading the Microsoft Client on the Windows 98 workstations.

Is that possible ?

Thanks for your time.

The only way would be to setup the printer with an IP address, setup NDPS and print direct to the printer. To use the NT queue would need the microsoft client or edirectory installing on the nt box. Lee Smith

You would need the Microsoft Client to use the resource on the NT Server.

You could, however, set up an IP printer port on the workstation. For example, with HP printers you can create a HP port, specify the IP address of the printer and print direct to it. This is a bit long winded and personally I would go with TheBoySmith and use NDPS (however you need the NDPS part of the Novell Client installed for it to work) -----------------------------------------------------
