Does anyone have a script / utility that can be run on the server to print the Unix directory tree with all subdirs, files, ownerships and permissions?

thanks

It's overkill probably, but what about
find / -print | xargs ls -l > /tmp/dirlist & 2>&1

(then go home & sleep!) TandA

I hope that you have lots of paper in your printer !

Yeah! LOL - time to break out the old line printer & get a box of continuous paper s-) then sit back & wait |-I TandA

before you start, you could make it easier by :
'chmod -R o-wrx /'

then run the script as user nobody ... :)

wouldn't take too long to print it then :)

you might have trouble writing to /tmp though ... :)

PS. DON'T EVER DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
