I have a macro that scrapes data from multiple screens and writes it to a text file. As the last step I would like to have the macro print the file so that the user doesn't have to open Notepad, open the file and then print the file manually. I see a lot of posts about screen printing but nothing about windows printing.

I've never tried to print directly, but you can open the file for the user. If you wanted you could put a messagebox up that says "print from here" or something.

I usually use the shell command to open notepad.

Goes a little something like this,

PrintMe = Shell("notepad /p c:\test.txt")

[thumbsup2] Wow, I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time.
I think I've forgotten this before.
